Tech arrived on site. Found emergency drain pan filled with water. Leaking out the side. Primary and secondary lines are clogged up. Evaporator coil is restricted. Condenser coil is SUPER restricted. Lack of maintenance, age, and design of system are all contributing to this drain line failure. Had to remove all water from the secondary pan. Flush out condensate line. Did not add trap or vent as client only wanted to do the immediate repair for now. There is still potential for water to leak out of the system with current drain line design. It is not recommended to use the ac a lot until more extensive repair or a new system can be installed. Additional notes: almost all duct work in attic has tears on it. Return filter is not easily accessible. Unit is manufactured in 1986. Has Freon leaks. The Freon that it runs on is not manufactured anymore. It is strongly suggested to replace the system to avoid costly repair issues. Unit is operational and not leaking upon departure. Wa
