NO COOL. Found system operational upon arrival. Customer stated unit is blowing warm air. Thinks it may be a freon leak since they had the same issue with the upstairs unit and they ended up having it replaced. The unit was replaced earlier this year by the customers home warranty after having to add freon twice. After inspecting unit and checking refrigerant pressures, found unit very low on freon pressures (almost flat). Gave customer repair options and he and his wife chose to do the minimal option today. We are only adding the freon charge and that’s it. There is no warranty on this type of repair and the freon will most likely leak out again. Customer also understands this can be any day, week, month, or even year from now. We cannot warranty something that will just leak out. Customer also was informed that this refrigerant is on a phaseout per the EPA and is not being manufactured anymore. With refrigerant leaks also comes the loss of oil that lubricates the compressor.
