Performed Fau maint on 3 year old Goodman furnace. Cycled furnace. Verified proper heating sequence of operations. Temperature rise across heat exchanger is within range. Amp draws on indoor blower motor are within range. Blower wheel is already very dirty. Secondary motor control checks out good. Cleaned out heating compartment and tested heating components. Ductwork is also new and is properly sealed. Went over how to use the thermostat with wife. Unbalance of temperature between upstairs and downstairs comes from Ductwork and home design, not much that can be done to improve the situation. Highly recommend adding a whole home air purifier to keep unit and ductwork clean, and also help with keeping the home clean and allergies and dust to a minimum. Husband was not home to go over findings and recommendations. Will email everything over so he can look over it. System is operational upom departure.
