Callback. We were out yesterday to perform diagnostic. We replaced primary motor control at condenser., Homeowner states now her thermostat is not displaying the correct temperature. Indoor Temperature displayed on thermostat is about 10 degreess hotter than what it really is. After troubleshooting system, found that secondary motor control was wired incorrectly, and low voltage wire was heating up, causing thermostat to heat up and display the wrong temperature. Corrected wiring, tested all components and all are operational. Thermostat will need about 24 hours to acclimate and display correct temperature. Explained everything to homeowner, she is fully aware of what happened and is glad that it’s fixed. System is fully operational upon departure.
