Arrived on site To perform diagnostic. When calling to confirm homeowner said he would not be home but we will be meeting his tenant for back house. Went through side gate and knocked on back house. Waitied for approx 20-30 minutes and got no answer. Called homeowner left message. Could not get a hold of homeowner. Could not perform work. Tech arrived on site. Found 1 hvac mini split. Condenser and fan coil were on. Compressor wasn’t. Compressor winding reading open lead. Indicating it failed. Unit is R22. Oil leakage around the suction port. Unit was manufactured in Mexico. Tech support will not help out with issues. Because it’s leaking refrigerant, homeowner wanted to get an estimate on replacement cost.
