Performed A/C maintenance on a 1989 Rheem condensing unit. Systems temperature split is at 23 degrees. Compressor start amps are out of range. Run amps are high. Starter is pitted and has black smoke marks on it. Primary start control is out of range. Coils were chemically cleaned. Service panel was cleaned out as well. Fan motor is leaking oil. Indoor blower housing is heavily dusty. Indoor blower motor is also leaking oil. Went over repair options with the customer. System was cycled before departure.
