Arrived on site to perform fall tune up on a 2019 Bryant unit. Furnace located in attic. Condenser in back yard. Client stated no issues as home is new and less then 2 years old. Client cycled unit and was operational. Inspected attic. Found new flex ducting used and good. Filter were dirty and client stated he would replace himself. Blower assembly is good slight dust. Motor is good and in range. Inducer motor is good and in range. Igniter and flame sensor are good. Drain lines are good at This time but no safety over flow switches. Recommend adding surge protectors me to at least primary line to prevent any over flow in attic. No protection on unit. Recommend adding surge protectors to units to protect from electrical surge and power outages that can damage or even short out systems and components. Cycled unit and went over all findings with client and recommendations. Clips aware how unit is running and it’s condition. Client did want to hold off for now since unit is new.
