arrived on site to diagnose a ducting issues in home on a 6 year old unit. Spoke to client and he stated the had some plumbing work done in home and the the work was done in attic. The stated during the repair he had heard a loud noise as if something got crushed and since then he’s had been having airlflow issues the the living room. He did not want them to come look at it and called us out. Inspected attic. Found furnace located in a closet out side of home on the side. All duct ram in attic. Inspected and found the main duct going to living room to be completely smashed down as if they steps or laid on it. Inspected other ducting in attic and connections found the connections to not be good as some are lose and some have a big gaps exposed. Advised client he is losing cold air in attic due to the ducting and for it being metal it’s not as efficient as it should be so can cause unit to run longer. Went over findings and showed client pictures. As well as repairs and recommendatio
