Performed Diagnostic on 2012 Trane system. Richard states that the system is no longer blowing out cold air. It stopped working last summer and hasn’t worked again since. I cycled system for cooling. Indoor unit kicked on normally. Outdoor unit is unresponsive. After diagnosis found a bad secondary motor control which is not allowing system to kick on. Primary motor control is also very pitted on contact point. Went over findings and recommendations with homeowner. With homeowner approval went ahead and replaced primary and secondary motor controls, and also added compressor saver kit to unit. Cycled system on, system now kicking on and cooling. Refrigerant levels are in range and system is producing an efficient temperature split. System is fully operational upon departure. Homeowner signed up on yearly ESA maintenance program. Waived today’s diagnostic fee.
