Performed AC diagnostic on 2003 Aire flo system. Homeowner states system is blowing warm air. Cycled system for cooling. Outdoor condenser fan motor kicked on, but compressor is not turning on. Checked unit electrical and components. Found a bad secondary motor control. Put a temporary secondary motor control in to perform thorough evaluation of system. System kicked on. Refrigerant levels are in good range. Compressor amp draws are high and is close to over amping. Condenser fan motor is over amping and is leaking oil. Primary motor control is burnt an pitted. Condenser coil is extremely dirty. Went over findings and recommendations with homeowner. Talked about system replacement and answered some questions homeowner had about replacing. Homeowner is aware that system is older and inefficient, and that it will need to be replaced soon. Wants to take care of the immediate repair today and sign up for ESA membership. Put secondary motor control in permanently, and also performed Spring
