Arrived on site to diagnose 2 2003 Lennox system. Condenser located in back yard. Furnace and evaporator coil located in attic. Client stated no issues other then at night there secondary drain line would drain out side. Advised client I would be inspecting both unit inside and out. Replace filter and check refrigerant pressure in both systems. Advised the summary of findings are as followed. 2 half ton condenser 1. 2003 Lennox unit. 2. Washed condenser inside and out. Unit really dirty. 3. Fan motor has been leaking lots of oil from over working in past. Fan bearings are starting to Seizing up causing motor to work even harder and use up a lot more electricity then normal. 4. Primary motor control has dark tone discoloration on pitting from self wear over years. 5. Secondary motor control is good as it was recently replaced. 6. Compressor start up amps are almost at max, run amps are almost to max As it’s pulling 11.1 amp and max rated at 13.3. indicating compressor is really
