Performed AC/furnace tuneup on 2003 Aireflo System. Upon my maintenance there were multiple points of concerns that were addressed with the homeowner. AC- 1. Found the condenser fan motor Leaking oil from bearing due Lubricant seal rupturing. This can cause the motor to pull hire Amperage along with it locking up or overheating From lack of lubrication. If this component fails this can cause compressor to overheat and create much more damage than what has already has occurred. 2. Duel secondary motor control has become weak on the hermetic and fans side terminals. 3. High-voltage relay contained putting on contact points. This completed access the brakes for the system and can cause failure on start up and shut down if pitting worsens. 4. Measured compressor amperage and found a total of 15 A being pulled which is fairly high considering that there is no heat load in the house and the ambient temperature is very low today. 5.
