Performed AC diagnostic on 16 year old condensing unit 1. Upon diagnostic found that compressor was actively energized although not pumping refrigerant through Line sets. Compressor will then go into thermal lock out and cut off but the condenser fan motor Stays energized. I then measured the winding’s from the compressor leads and found that the ohms are no longer equal to each other. Discussed with Gary about replacing compressor and then system will need to be recharged with R 22 Freon which was phased out January 1, 2020 or consider system replacement.
