Performed AC maintenance on 16-year-old to system condensing units. Upon my maintenance I came across a few points and concerns that were addressed. Upstairs- 1. Found condenser fan motor is leaking oil from bearing, This is caused amperage to be increased. 2. Compressor failing on lock rotor amps well under a load. This can lead to failure of the compressor in the future. 3. Started showing signs of pitting on contact point 4. Secondary motor control has become weak on fan side terminal due to the fan over amping. 5. Service disconnect did not contain any fuses or surge protection 6. System contains restriction Downstairs- 1. Condenser fan motor also leaking oil from bearing 2. Compressor also failing on start up due to lock rotors 3. High-voltage really showing signs of pitting 4. Fan side terminal on secondary motor control is also going out due to fan of amping.
