arrived on site to perform spring tune up on a 2016 carriers unit. Condenser located in back yard. Furnace and evaporator coil located in attic. Cli Stated no issues and just wanted to get unit inspected since system has never been maintenance and especially since they stated they Have there system running all day long. Client cycled cooling mode. Inspected indoor unit checked all electrical wiring,circuit boards, and components . Checked blower assembly and motor. Checked evaporator coil and drain lines. Found no protection on unit of safety float switches. Washed out door unit inside and out. Checked components. Checked compressor and fan motor amp drawls. Checked refrigerant pressure. Advised they summary of findings are as followed. Furnace 1. Single stage furnace with 2 zones. 2. Construction grade build system. 3. Blower wheel is dirty creating stress on motor.
