Arrived on site to perform spring tune up. Condenser located in back yard. Furnace and evaporator coil located in attic. Client stated no issues just hasn’t serviced system in a couple years and how like it serviced. Had client cycled cooling mode. System was operational. Inspected out door unit. Washed condenser coil inside and out checked electrical compartment and components. He led compressor, blower motor, and fan motor amp drawls. Checked refrigerant pressure. Inspected filter and ducting. Advised the summary of findings are as followed. Condenser 1. 2000 condenser 2. Condenser has no base and is start to go under the dirt allowing dirt build up to stay inside and not drain out. System is growing roots from growing under ground d for so long. 3. Condenser coil itself, is in very bad condition it self due as it’s start to Deteriorate so much as it’s now exposing the refrigerant pipes inside the condenser coil it self. High risk or getting a leak created in those areas
