Performed AC diagnostic on 2002 ICP Condenser. Roommate stated that They just moved in about four months ago and system has not been cooling and will not drop in temperature on the thermostat. Due to this it’s been Continuously running and caused the electrical bill to be 800 dollars. Upon the diagnostic I found multiple points of concerns that need to be addressed with the homeowner. Neither homeowner was present and was not able to get in contact with. 1. System was low on R22 refrigerant due to a leak somewhere within the refrigeration cycle of the system. This refrigerant has been completely phased out as of January 1, 2020. 2. Suction line was completely iced up upon arrival due to low refrigerant charge. 3. Duel secondary motor control is weak on hermetic side terminals due to compressor continuously running without proper refrigerant levels 4. Compressor which is the heart of the system is using 21 Amps at the moment even with a low refrigerant charge. This is incredibly high
