Arrived on site to diagnose a no cooling 2004 unit. Unit is original to home. Client stated they just moved in and had issues so home warranty referred us to him and he called us out. Upon arrival spoke over with client. He stated he recently noticed home getting warm. But system washer at 66 degrees and only hot air was coming out. He went outside and saw condenser was not spinning and shut it all off. Advised I would evaluate full system. Cycled system and unit did not turn on and made loud buzzing noise. Inspected electrical compartment and found secondary control completely bad and not turning on unit. Replaced to test and evaluate system. Found primary starter original and worn out on pittings. Fan motor is over amping pulling 1.5 amps as it’s max rated at 1.4. Motor could fail In future due to age and condition. checked start up on Compressor and found it way above range as compressor is having a really hard time turning unit on. Run amps is pulling 24-25 amps advised max rate
