Started with checking unit on left side of home. Owner said that thermostat to house doesn’t bring down to temperature they desire. I hooked up my gauges and checked my temperatures. Temperatures were reading fine, no refrigerant needed. I checked out compressor amps and fan motor amps. Amps are drawing high on both. One thing I saw was the bottom of the condenser coil was starting to deteriorate. It falls off with just a brush of the finger. Made it aware to owner, but she mentioned she just bought a system from us on her other home. She said she’s still paying off other system, and would like to wait on speaking with someone about potential replacements. Till she finishes paying off other system, she’ll give us a call for estimate and supervisor. Charging for diagnostic.
