Performed furnace maintenance on 2012 Rheem heater. During the maintenance they were a few points of concerns that were addressed with both homeowners. 1. Indoor Blower motor has significant oil leakage occurring, It’s left in this condition and it worsens this can lead to the motor potentially locking up or even overheating. 2. Single secondary motor control is weak due to indoor blower motor using too much power 3. System is not equipped with surge protection in the case of a power outage thunder storm, surge etc. 4. Flame sensor was cleaned and spark igniter is in good condition 5. Filter was swapped out and Is swapped out every three months Discussed and informed the full condition of Bob’s 2012 Rheem heater.
