Arrived on site to perform AC diagnostic on 2014 carrier condensing unit. Upon arrival Joseph states that they moved in approximately 11 months ago and Have had no issues until last night and noticed that the vents are only blowing out room temperature air. Started at outdoor unit and found that it was operational. Proceeded to measure refrigerant pressures and found that the system was extremely low on R410a charge. Verified that there was no signs of leakage outside and proceeded to attic to inspect evaporator coil. Immediately found at TXV Bolt on thread What is loose in the main source of refrigerant and leakage. Properly tightened TXV valve to ensure no more Refrigerant leakage. Returned back to outdoor condenser and inspected electrical and found that duel secondary motor control was weak on compressor side terminal. Also found a single secondary motor control that was added in and left in its original box to power the outdoor fan motor which was leaking oil from its bearing. Jos
