Performed AC maintenance on nine-year-old Goodman condensing unit. Upon my Maintenance I came across a few points of concerns that should be addressed to prevent any type of damage or failure of the system. Goodman condenser- 1. Found the system was low on R410a refrigerant. This indicates that there is a leak somewhere present within the refrigeration cycle. 2. Found the condenser fan motor was rusted out at shaft. This is causing the fan motor to over amp. 3. Starter showing signs of pitting and Burnt marks on contact points. This can lead to failure on start up/shut down in the future. 4. Secondary motor control is weak on fan side terminal due to motor over amping. 5. Compressor pulling 18 A which is incredibly high considering it is not that hard of a day and the low heat load in the home at the moment. Compressor is working harder than needed. 6. System also contains some type of contaminant due to my pressures fluctuating on my refrigerant gages. Recommendations- 1. Inject a l
