Arrived on site to perform heating tune up on a 2005 Goodman furnace. Client stated no issues just wanted system maintenance and inspected. Cycled heating on and system was operational. Advised client I would be evaluating entire furnace for efficiency and proper operation And safety. Advised the summary of findings are as followed. Goodman furnace 1. 2005 Goodman furnace original to home. Found attic access already damaged and advised client so he is aware of existing damage already present to attic access door. Client was aware. 2. Cycled thermostat in heating and is operational. Client statues he had a nest thermostat he would like to replace. 3. Filter was really dirty as client is replacing filter long over due. Recommend replacing filter every 3 months to reduce amount of dirt entering system and prevent air flow restrictions from clogged filters. System airflow is restricted. 4.
