Performed diagnostic on 19 year old ComfortMaker system. Homeowner states that furnace is not working. They have had a Ignitor replaced in the past and think it’s the same issue. I cycled furnace for heat. Verified proper heating sequence of operations. System is not igniting. Checked for voltage and Ignitor is not recieving voltage. Checked connections and everything is properly secured. Circuit board is not sending Ignitor voltage, board needs to be replaced. Went over findings and recommendations with homeowner. Spoke about replacement vs repair. Homeowners are still currently paying the last repairs that they financed and are not in the position to replace. Want to repair it for the time being. Need to order circuit board and return to replace. Signed homeowner up on monthly ESA maintenance program and waived Diagnostic fee due to repair. System is not operational upon departure.
