Arrived on site to diagnose a unit not cooling. Condenser located in back yard and furnace located in attic. Upon arrival saw unit looked to be chewed wire and low voltage was not getting sent to unit. Inspected electrical compartment up top and low voltage was not getting sent to outdoor unit. Found a big hole and advised client they may have a rat issues. Advised client wires are bad and world need to add wires wires in to replace all bad chewed up wires. Had to break into wall to test if we could salvage wires. If not would have to route wires another way. Replaced wires and system was operational. Checked amp draws on compressor and it is over amping advised compressor could fail at any time. Pressure are good and cooling. Went over all findings and client were aware but are moving out in 2 weeks out of state and just wanted system to turn on and cool to sell home. Got system up and running. Client aware very old and inefficient. Cycled system to ensure system operating. System so
