Performed maintenance on 2004 trane system. Cycled system for cooling. Checked indoor unit electrical and system components. Temperature split is in range. Unit has no safety switch on condensation lines. Homeowner will be replacing his own filters. Checked outdoor unit electrical and system components. Amp draws and starting amps on compressor are high. Condenser fan motor amps are also high. Primary motor control in good condition, secondary motor control is within range. Pulled condenser motor and thoroughly washed out condenser coil inside and out. Went over findings and recommendations with homeowner. Mentioned we have gone over everything every time we come out but it is still working, wishes to hold off on any repairs. System is operational upon departure.
