Technician found an area on the condenser coil to be very torn up where it’s only the copper showing and the aluminum fins are gone. Both the fan motor and condenser motors are leaking a ton of oil and seizing up. The refrigerant levels (R22) were a few pounds undercharged, there may be a pinhole leak in the system somewhere. The collars where the ducts connect are not sealed and are leaking air. Most of the air registers were extremely dirty from the air coming out of the ducts meaning the indoor blower compartment is very dirty. The compressor and the motors are drawing a lot of power resulting in the customer’s high energy bill.
