Performed furnace tuneup on 1997 Goodman Heater. Upon my tuneup they were multiple points of concerns that were addressed with the homeowner Melody. 1997 GOODMAN FURNACE- 1. Measured systems temperature rise and found that he was exciting 75° with a temperature rise of 120. This is a major red flag considering that the system is tripping on high temperature 2. Heat exchanger on system it’s potentially cracked due to the incredibly high temperature rise and airflow restrictions. 3. System Had two filters one inside the return plenum and one at the return vent. This is also another cause of air flow restriction 4. Indoor blower motor had a oil leakage and can cause a potential lock up or overheating due to lack of lubrication 5. Air mixing cabinet was completely covered in dust and debris due to 1 inch filters in efficiently stopping dust particles 6. Flame sensor was heavily oxidized and can cause failure on start up in heating mode 7. Circuit board has slight burn and heat marks D
