Performed furnace maintenance on 1985 Trane Heater. Upon my maintenance there were a few points of concerns that were addressed with Matthews 60,000 BTU FURNACE TRANE- 1. Inspected indoor blower motor and found massive amount of oil leakage occurring from bearing. Blower motor is used for AC, heating and fan mode it is at high risk of failing due to the amount of oil loss and cause the it to potentially lock up or overheat. 2. Preformed safety inspection On heat exchanger and found multiple points of corrosion and potential crack points although was not able to confirm any cracks were present at the moment. Recommended that he exchangers checked before every winter to insure the safety of everyone at home. 3. Indoor blower scroll wheel is heavily covered in dust and debris due to 1 inch filter inefficiently stopping dust particles. 4. Recommend filter swapped out every 1 to 3 months 5. Transformer was replaced in the past 6. Nox rods are completely Disintegrated. Discussed full condit
