Performed AC maintenance on 9 year old Goodman equipment. Replaced 1 inch filter. Cycled system for cooling. Checked indoor unit electrical and system components. Temperature split within range. Checked outdoor system electrical and components. Amp draws for compressor and condenser fan motor are within range. Primary motor control is severely burnt and pitted, most likely caused by hard starts on compressor. Secondary motor control has fallen out of range for compressor terminal. Pulled condenser fan motor off and thoroughly washed out condenser coil inside and out. Went over findings and recommendations. Due to summer basically being over, wants to put off repairs for now. Cycled system, system is operational upon departure.
