Performed AC maintenance on 2000 Goodman system. Cycled system for cooling. Checked indoor and outdoor unit electrical and system components. Replaced 1 inch filter. System is producing good temperature split and cooling correctly. Pulled off condenser fan motor and thoroughly washed out condenser coil inside and out. Thoroughly evaluated indoor and outdoor systems, concerns are as follows: 1. Compressor saver kit has small burn on yellow wire coming off of relay. 2. Primary motor control has burn and pitting marks at contact points 3. Compressor is working very loudly 4. Indoor blower motor is leaking oil, secondary motor control has already been replaced at one point 5. No condensation safety switches on drain lines. There’s no emergency drain pan underneath the furnace 6. There are water stains on platform, water was leaking onto platform at one point 7. System is operating on R-22 refrigerant, which was phased out at the start of this year. 8. System is old and inefficient.
