Arrived on site to perform AC diagnostic on 2005 carrier condensing unit. Upon arrival Chris stated that the secondary drain is flowing profusely and would like this fixed so that it does not damage to the side of his house. Began diagnostic and proceeded to evaporator coal and found that primary drain line was clogged up and P-trap underneath sink is clogged. Inspected outdoor unit and found that system appeared to be low on R410a charge. Duel secondary motor control was weak on hermetic side terminal. Starter was heavily burned and pitted on contact points. Fan motor is over Amping. Discussed full diagnostic with Chris and at this time he is moving in less than a year to Massachusetts and would like to just do the mid range repair to get the system running and in a better state than it is now.
