Arrived onsite to customers location for request of pricing for new Backflow prevention device installed. Met Jeffrey onsite and he was able to approve pricing. Called Courtney at PUD and asked her why a Backflow prevention device was needed. Skagit PUD requires a premise isolation DCVA on property’s over 5 acres due to low hazard cross Contamination possibility. Presented customer pricing for replacement with and without excavation. Customer inclined to excavate area himself. Customer signed off on pricing. Collected half down for work to be done at later date. Will coordinate with Courtney inform her that a plan is set forward. 4-22-22 Arrived onsite and shut main water off to home to prevent back siphoning from water heater. Provided and installed new lead free Backflow prevention device. Once device had been properly installed, turned water back on and checked for leaks. No leaks present. Watched leak detector on meter and found it to not move Indicating no leaks are prese
