Customer called about a clogged mainline. They had another company come out and perform jetter work from the septic two weeks ago. They also had a septic company come out and inspect the tank and filter two days ago. They said the problem is in the building sewer. Two homes on the lot tie into the same sewer line about 4’ in front of the septic tank. Provided pricing for an attempt to clear the mainline through an interior clean out with an option to perform jetter work if necessary. Customer accepted. Used the camera, found a blockage. Performed drain cleaning with the 300 machine. Worked the drain out to about 100’. Water levels dropped, ran water at fixtures for 15 minutes with no back up. Used the camera again and found that where the home ties into the existing sewer is non directional. There also appears to be a belly in the line in this locations. Depth of ~2’5â€.
