Arrived on site to perform work as proposed. Found the source of the leak in the downstairs apartment. Drain pipe in the cabinet is cracked right at a fitting. Below the cabinet, the fitting is about 3/4†above the slab. Offered pricing to cut out a section of the cabinet and the drywall in order to see how we can make the repair, customer declined and had maintenance cut it. After the cut, determined we would have to chip away at the concrete in order to reveal enough pipe to make a connection. Offered pricing to chip concrete as necessary and make the repair, customer accepted. Cut out the 45, chip the concrete until about an inch of pipe was exposed, used two mission bands, a pvc 45 and a section of pipe to make the repair and waited for glue to cure. Ran water at the sink and performed a drain down test to test for leaks and drainage. No leaks detected and sink is draining properly. Ran the dishwasher as well and checked for leaks, no leaks detected. Cleaned work area. Spoke with
