Arrived on site for a customer complaint of their system not working. Upon arrival I found the unit to be in a hard lockout showing error code 184.07 and 184.08. Got on the phone around 12:30 with Gensco tech support. Spoke to Tim and he informed me that the system was in a hard lockout. Customer informed me they have had some power outages in the recent weeks. Tim informed me to clear the codes and turn of the system completely for 5-10 minutes. After waiting, we restored power to the units. After everything was re booted we gave the system a call for cooling. The outdoor unit kicked on and was producing 55 degree air inside the home. Let the system run for 30+ minutes insuring everything was functioning properly. No error codes present. Due to the outdoor ambient temperature being so high I did not run the system in heating mode. Went back to thermostat and checked operation everything was functioning properly. CPI has determined that this issue was related to the recent power outage
