with floodstop valve Customer called in because water heater had failed and started leaking from tank. Gave options for replacement. Customer decided to move forward with replacement of tank with a Bradford white tank. Customer already had power shut off to tank and water shut off to home. Removed existing water heater flex’s. Drained tank. Removed existing electrical. Removed tank. Installed new water heater earthquake strapping. Installed new tank. Installed floodstop. Installed water heater flex’s. Reinstalled existing electrical. Note: unable to run drain piping to exterior of home. Customer understands that if inspector requires further work a cost will be associated with repairs.
