I inspected the repair that was made by the care taker. I cut out the repair and made a new repair with Brass fittings. I removed the pvc water lines underneath the home and replaced it with new 3/4 inch pex. The existing water service was on the exterior of the home so I rerouted underneath the foundation. I replaced a failed hose bibb and shut off valve. I tested and everything is in great working condition at this time.
