Checked customer complaint about a clogged drain and a leak on a hose bib on the roof. Customer had a clogged floor drain in the deli and there was a yard hydrant on the roof that was leaking. Presented customer pricing to attempt to clear the floor drain with an auger and perform a parts search and locate for the yard hydrant. After pricing was approved I took many pictures of the yard hydrant so we can either replace or repair the hydrant as soon as possible. Performed drain cleaning of the floor drain. I laid down a rug to protect the customer’s floor from damage. I augered out to about 20 feet when I hit the obstruction. I used the power feed to break up the obstruction then augered further down the line to ensure it was clear. Performed drain test with the customer. I poured large quantities of water down the drain and it did not back up. Will send the customer and estimate to repair or replace yard hydrant as soon as possible.
