Checked customer complaint about their kitchen sink clogging up. Customer’s kitchen sink had backed up and also backed up through the drain for the washing machine. I went into the crawl space to see if the two drain lines connected at one point. While in the crawl space I discovered a leak coming out of the plastic barrier. The water was hot and the leak was under the water heater above. I turned the power off to the water heater then I turned the water off to the water heater which stopped the leak. I gave the customer pricing to find and repair the leaks as well as to auger their kitchen drain to remove the obstruction. After the pricing was approved I performed the leak search in the crawl space. I discovered the leak was coming from the hot water line from the water heater once it went into the crawl space just under the floor. I cut out the damaged section of pipe and installed the new section of pipe made of pex. After installing the new section of pipe I turned the water back
