During diagnostic work discovered that the internal diverting valve is not operating. Part is covered under the manufacture warranty but labor is not covered. Unit was installed by others in 2016. No warranty on any components not installed by CPI. January 13, 2021 Arrived onsite to install the new diverter valve per manufacturer tech support. Followed the installation manual step by step and put in the new valve. Reassembled the unit insuring everything was properly put back together. Insured there was no leaks as well. After talking with tech-support and running through a series of diagnostic steps we came to the conclusion that the current thermostat is not hooked up to the system, nor do the wires run to the equipment. The current thermostat is not capable of running this system properly. Pricing was provided for a wireless thermostat that will run the heating system correctly.
