Customer wanted a new water heater, bathroom faucet and kitchen faucet. Uninstalled the old water heater, cut the old copper pipe to about 2†from the wall and soldered new copper above the new water heater. Also removed both faucets and installed the new ones that the customer had picked out. 3 emergency stops were leaking after we turned them off most likely due to the age and the fact that they haven’t been used in a long time. Removed he old stops and installed 3 new quarter turn ball valves. Once everything was installed, turned the water back on and tested all valves. No leaks detected. Opened the valves and tested for leaks in the fixtures and the water heater. No leaks detected. Let the air out of the hot water line and turned power back on to the heater. Customer also wanted an access panel behind the shower head, it was loose and could be pulled. Upon installing no the panel, I could see that the riser had not been screwed to the beam.
