Performed a water leak repair on 1†copper water piping on 5/4/2022. Customer stated he noticed moisture on the pipes where the work had been done. Cleaned and inspected joints for signs of leaks. No leaks were identified. The moisture was determined to be condensation from the pipes sweating. Customer also requested a ball valve to be installed in the pipe between the inlet and outlet piping for the water treatment. Customer previously had a ball valve installed there, but requested I take it out yesterday. Presented pricing for plumbing diagnostic and informed customer that I would reinstall the shark bite ball valve. Customer accepted pricing. Shut off water to to the home and drained system. Cut out a small portion of copper pipe between the two tees and inserted the 1†ball valve. When the connections were secure, restored water to the home and inspected for leaks. No leaks were identified.
