Performed annual ac maintenance on a Goodman split system, upflow garage side yard. Cleaned exterior of unit. Changed disposable filter 20-25-1. Ran furnace to warm house up to get more accurate numbers, cooler day. Visual inspection of system in garage found a air leak at the back to of unit, see pictures and video. Recommend sealing it. Someone cut the back half of the beauty plate off from the flue pipe going thru the drywall. This is just for looks. Refrigerant pressures low, see picture but a cool on and off rainy day, so we just need to keep watching refrigerant pressure to make sure no leaks. Dual capacitor new ok in range. Contactor pitting starting to burn, ok for now will keep an eye on it to see if it gets worse. All wires tight and no burnt or loose connections. Control board ok at this time Resigning back up for another year of maintenance and repaired air leak in supply plenum, removed old falling off tape, and then re taped and sealed plenum.
