Performed swamp cooler diagnostic loomis. Found float to high and water overflowing unit left side. Adjusted float, drained unit, tested system. System not leaking as bad. Still a drop here and there. Pads don’t cover opening fully. Belt looks ok. Unit operational at this time. Top of the unit is level, bottom leans to the left upper corner, that’s where it’s leaking from. System getting older, starting to rust in many places, float adjustment only temporary fix, either going to need to rebuild unit, or eventually will want to think about replacement.
