Performed swamp cooler maintenance. Swamp cooler was off and the water was off as well. Client turned on water and water basin filled. Float worked as designed. No leaking at this time. Opened up unit to look at internals, belt looks good not cracking. bearings look ok, well lubricated. Tested swamp cooler on full both pads rotate in around 1min15secs. and on with just fan. System has slight vibration. All ok at this time. System in good shape for age. Client aware it won’t last forever but it works for now. Client had local handyman replace belt and pulley recently. Due to come back out for furnace tune up in oct/nov client would like to sign back up for maintenance then.
