Tub spout/diverter leaking and needs to be replaced. Will install new supply nipple through wall and attach new chrome plated tub spout/diverter. Removed old tub diverter to determine source of leak. Found copper nipple to have two nail holes and was covered with silicone to try to stop leak. Silicone did not prevent leak. Removed bad copper nipple and replaced. Also installed new tub diverter as old one no longer worked properly. Turned water on and tested for leaks and operation, no leaks at this time. Also removed trim plate on shower valve to ensure no other leaks. No leaks coming from shower at this time.
