I want to tell you that I will be requesting Dale from here on out. Not only is he honest, professional and knowledgeable, I feel that he exhibits the most professionalism of anyone that has come into my home. I would like to discuss my first person that came into my home - I believe it is Darryl. You all can confirm who did my maintenance. I truly felt that I was dealing with someone who was selling used cars. While very friendly and outgoing - I could quickly see that it wasn’t going to be a great experience. He asked me why I purchased the unit I did….he said he would only recommend Carrier….I told him Comort Maker was what you all recommended. He said I should upgrade to a Carrier. We went to the roof. The top of my capacitor was rusty….implied that it would not last much longer. i asked him to test it like they’ve done in the past….he stated he didn’t bring the equipment. I surprised him and told him it was recently replaced. He seemed surprised by that. My blower motor need replaced. He said he would check on the lowest price for me. He gave me a price I believe of $1086. This didn’t feel right. I called Nick (I believe) after he left and he said it should have been $460 (approximately) since I purchased the unit and had all the maintenance. So immediately - I’m not trusting Darryl. Finally Darryl asked me if I was ready to upgrade my unit….asking me if I had an extra $9000 - $10000 sitting around to make it happen. REALLY? Being over a group of sales people - I will ASSUME he brings in a lot of money but I don’t trust him and I’m unsure of Custom Climate now. I’ve used you all for years - based off of recommendations. I know you are under new ownership, but please don’t try and sell people things you don’t need and Jack up the price. This will cause people to move away from you in droves. If the owner would like to speak to me - I’m happy to talk. Dale was great but I’m not impressed with Darryl who did my maintenance….AT ALL. Please make sure the adjustment is made on my credit card for the severe over charge. And for the record - I knew Darryl never called to get me the lowest price as I never left his side and watched every move he made. My trust is gone. You have a lot of business in Bay Club - don’t allow Darryl’s dishonest ways to continue. There was nothing innocent about this either. He knew exactly what he was doing. He stated he changes his AC unit out every 6 years….I’m glad for him. I hope to keep mine going for more years rather than blowing unnecessary money. Happy to talk if the OWNER wants to speak. Dale came through after an installation problem, then a technician problem - Dale showed up and within minutes realized the reason the compressor was not getting power was because the breaker was not operating properly. HE REPLACED the breaker and it worked perfectly. He verified for me that the unit works better with the new compressor saver ( which I was losing faith in). He repaired the rodent screen that Josua tore off when he crawled under the house looking for broken wires. Dale is the best you have ever sent me -please let me keep Dale as my technician.
