On Thursday, July 19th Dependable Service Repair came by for our twice yearly service to check HVAC, water heater, fridge, washer and dryer as a part of the annual warranty agreement. Approximately an hour after the technician left I noticed the room temperature warming. I realized that the upstairs unit was not working. I contacted their office to have someone come back the following morning to address the problem and was informed that if something unrelated to the work the technician had done was found to be the cause that I would have to pay for the service charge. Knowing that there weren't any issues before the technician serviced the unit I was confident there would not be a service charge. Once the second technician finished his assessment of the problem as a blown fuse which is not covered under my warranty my question was how coincidental (eyes sideways). Dependable tech comes services my unit and ask for and received the annual payment for and warranty coverage one month early and one of the items that is not covered by the warranty is an issue when he leaves. I consider this to be very suspicious and will not renew the warranty going forward as I know when I've been ripped off.

The Service Agreement Coordinator responded to all of the issues above. The charge that the technician gave for the fuse was waived and added an additional month to her service agreement because she did renew 1 month early. We emailed the customer t let her know all of this as well as let her know that the service that was done was the last service of the previous service agreement and that she has her 2 services for the new agreement left that will be done within the next year. Customer sent an email response to the Service Agreement Coordinator telling her "thank you for your help today I look forward to receiving my 2018-2019 service agreement with extra month added."
