Heat Tune Up Trane Natural gas furnace 80% Checked filter. Checked gas pressure. Cleaned flame sensor. Checked HSI ohms and checked for cracks. Measured temp split. Verified thermostat operation. Combustion test: passed. Checked all electric motors and components. System as it is struggles to heat basement in winter. 3 supply grilles in basement were shut. I opened them for heating season. Dimensions of room are 35’x24’x10.5’. MiniSplit to supplement is an idea. Provided estimate to level outdoor unit using river rock stone. Completed Gas Furnace Inspection Form Furnace is operating well at the time of this maintenance.
